Abby Rosin

My name is Abby Rosin, and I am a Strategic Communications major at UW-Madison pursuing certificates in Digital Studies, Science Communication, and Environmental Studies.

 

My experience includes my role as Head Student Supervisor at Gordon Dining and Event Center, a position that directly supervises over 300 student employees. In that role, I have learned strong communication and collaboration skills. I interned at Ecolab last summer and will join them again as a Marketing Associate this Summer, 2025. At Ecolab, I learned from senior marketers and communicators how to improve my professional skills. I am also the Fundraising Director for the Association for Women in Communication - Madison Chapter and co-founded Badgers for IBD.  

 

I am passionate about saving the Earth and developing connections with anyone I meet. My greatest strengths include setting and achieving goals, leading, and building relationships. What makes me unique is my dual passion for science and marketing. I always say I have a science heart, but a business brain. I am excited to work for Ecolab, where I can pursue my passion for marketing and sustainability. 

 

I love to read and hang out with my family and friends in my free time! My favorite book of 2024 was The Women by Kristin Hannah. My goal this year is to read 45 books and one nonfiction book per month. I am also hoping to start a garden with my dad this summer. Stay tuned for updates on our progress!
